Layered and extended memories

The layered curves and light go beyond geometry. It represents memories and emotional bonds that tie the family together.
The design also integrates the occupants’ hometown’s landscape, including mountains, rivers, trees and sunlight, into their daily urban life, creating an elegant atmosphere that accompanies the growth of the younger generation.
Each space is designed to resemble natural elements, interconnected yet unique and surprising. For instance, the living room feature wall evokes the colour of the sky after rain, complemented by a partially curved mirror that extends subtly. The dining table has a texture reminiscent of a lake’s surface, and the room echoes a distant pale blue hue. While the main bedroom has a scent of autumn and tree shadows, and the secondary bedroom has a door set that resembles a mountain landscape, Each design element brings a sense of familiarity and stability into daily life.
The functionality of the space is layered and nested to be highly efficient and orderly. There are rotating shoe racks, reserved space for frequently used shoes and vacuum robots, lifted-up beds, hallway storage tabletops, and cabinets behind mirrors, all carefully designed to match the multifaceted needs and desires of the residents closely.
The design of the space also showcases unique aesthetic beauty in the details. The curved mirrors linking the feature wall and the shoe cabinet create an interesting spatial extension; the transparent study partition invisibly adjusts the visual length and width of the hallway. The bathroom is adorned with dark, large-leaf patterned tiles that extend from the top of the wall to the floor, faintly evoking the sound of cicadas on a summer night.
